Welcome to the NEW
It is no question that cancer has become one of the largest epidemics of our time. We’ve seen advances in modern medicine and research, but until a cure is found, we must do our part today to help those in need now.
Charitable donations will help position CanCare to serve more cancer patients now and into the future. Our ability to deliver quality and timely emotional support to thousands of cancer patients and their families each year is largely dependent upon the support from foundations, corporations and individuals.

Our ultimate goal is to make sure that no one has to battle cancer alone. We want CanCare to be prominent in every cancer treatment facility, clinic and hospital. When a patient is diagnosed with cancer and receives their treatment plan, we want CanCare to be included in their plan, treating not just the physical component, but the psychosocial component as well, which is essential. There is something about the support a survivor can give a recently diagnosed cancer patient that can’t be found anywhere else. One of our active volunteers summed it up best:
"I had an amazing support system, but I felt like something was still missing. I didn't know anyone my age who had been diagnosed with cancer. I didn't have CanCare," said Megan. "In that sense, I felt like I was going through it alone."
