1. Unrestricted investment in core mission support (program management, sound fiscal management, responsible fundraising efforts, and executive leadership), all of which is used to care for the children that call our campus home.
and Girls Country is led by Executive Director Vincent Duran and a 38-member Board
of Directors who provide fiscal and practical direction. Every board member contributes financially to
BGC and commits his/her time and insight to help guide the work of the BGC
staff . Mr. Duran leads a team of 64
staff, including 38 Teaching Parents
who provide direct care for our children. All staff is mission-driven, focusing on the well-being of the children
in our care. Program supervisors and
many of our Teaching Parents hold licenses in child care and social services
related fields. Boys and Girls
Country could not deliver the superior level of caring and service that we do
without the generous donation of time from our volunteers. In
2016, 2,022 volunteers contributed 7,058 hours of service, valued at over $177,200!
