A service designed to assist the person with Alzheimer’s and their family in planning for and dealing with all aspects of the illness, including: needs assessment, planning, and problem solving. Community members may schedule a meeting with a licensed professional to develop a comprehensive plan by calling 713-314-1313.

Description
Gain practical tips for coping with the challenges of caregiving by attending a support group. discussing, and supporting one another on Alzheimer’s related issues. All groups are facilitated by trained volunteers. The Chapter supports more than 50 groups. Specialized groups include early-onset care partners, men’s only, and Spanish speaking groups.
